Cultivate Faith
Has your faith journey ever led you in to the dark? Into a seeming dead-end trail? To the bottom of a cliff with no way up? Or to the depths where there is no familiar light? I have. The results left me feeling hurt, hopeless, and holding on to hollow faith. Faith...a hard word to define. Is it a noun? Or a verb? From my experience it's both. First the etymology (word origin) from Dictionary.com First recorded in 1200–50; Middle English feith, from Anglo-French fed, Old Fren

Meditating on The Everlasting Arms
Deuteronomy 33:27a The eternal God is a dwelling place, And underneath are the everlasting arms; How I meditate on this truth. Deuteronomy 33:27a "The eternal God is a dwelling place, And underneath are the everlasting arms;" How I meditate on this truth: 1. Read it out loud 2. Breathe in for a four count - as an open door to receive this truth. 3. Hold breath - and this thought - for a four count. 4. Breathe out all doubt that this is truth - for a four count 5. Hold breath

Uncharted Waters
How does this picture make you feel? Have you ever been caught in a small boat in a big storm? One of my first traumatic experiences as a child was almost drowning. I was about eight years old. Back then, when you disobeyed your parents and almost died, you faced angry parents, not therapy. I was terrified of water for years. I had nightmares for years. And no one ever asked me if I was okay. PTSD has been a part of my life for longer than I was previously aware of. This pict

Longing
Why do we wait days without number to run to the only one who has the answers?Jeremiah 2:32 HAUNTS ME “Can a virgin forget her ornaments, Or a bride her attire? Yet My people have forgotten Me Days without number." Isaiah 55:6 HERALDS ME "Seek the Lord while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near." Matthew 11:28 HEALS ME “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. 2

Faith
I do NOT buy into the 'word faith' movement or any of their FALSE doctrines. Just wanted to make that clear. However our journey as a Jesus follows is a FAITH journey. And with faith we believe, follow, share and pray. "And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him." Hebrews 11:6

Love and Trust
Probably one of the most quoted Bible verses, when it comes to worry and anxiety, is Philippians 4: 6-7. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. If you don't have that memorized I encourage you to. The Word of God is the sword of truth to dispatch the lies of the enemy. Where

Joy as a Cement
The only way to create a mosaic is to employ broken pieces. Being broken is never a 'feel good' moment...not physically, emotionally, mentally or spiritually. And all do have a breaking point. And it doesn't matter how the breaking happens...self-inflicted, life, evil men, family - natural or Church - or even from God. I know it's a mind bender to think of God breaking us - and I don't want to believe this but then I read Psalm 51:8 and 17 Make me to hear joy and gladness, Le

Diligence - My 2026 Word
January can be hard...mid month and resolutions run diluted on the floor of your resolve. But God...some of the most important words in the Bible...Ephesians 2:4..being rich in MERCY... Do you realize that every day you open your eyes it means God believes in you - trusts you - is there for you - to be the best you can be? It's humbling if you think about it. The Creator of all watching you - not with criticism and judgement but as a Father watches his toddler learning how to
