Feelings come and go
But not so God
In life are highs and lows
But not so God
My mind will fret and reason
My soul will change like seasons
But not so God
Though He slay me
I will trust Him
Though He seems distant
He never leaves me
The sun and stars
May fail to light
The way
But not so God
