"Trust God. Love Him more than yourself. Love His glory more than your life." Fenelon

Do I want what God wants?

My spirit says, 'Yes!"

But do my life choices reflect that statement?

I need God's help to overcome my weakness. I need His Bread of Life to make the world tasteless.

I long to trust God completely, to love Him wholeheartedly, and to serve Him courageously.

Dr Brene Brown has spent years researching what it means to live wholehearted. She defines Wholehearted living as:

"engaging in or lives from a place of worthiness. It means cultivating the courage, compassion, and connection to wake up in the morning and think, No matter what gets done and how much is left undone, I am enough. It’s going to bed at night thinking, Yes, I am imperfect and vulnerable and sometimes afraid, but that doesn’t change the truth that I am also brave, and worthy of love and belonging."

As we continue to journey with God, we find courage, compassion and connection with Him. As we allow God's love and truth to work from the inner man (spirit), to our soul (mind, will and emotions), we find the ability to live courageously, compassionately and connected with other imperfect humans, including ourselves.

Wholehearted living is not a one time victory but a daily pursuit.

As we connect daily with God and allow His Spirit to work in us, issue but issue, conflict by conflict, we actively work out our salvation and become relevant and valuable to all in our world.
