Navigating the Deep - First Steps

"The first thing you must learn is that the Kingdom of God is within you." Guyon
Guyon's teachings are aimed at all people, even the illiterate. She encourages them to view Jesus as 'the greatest book' and to read Him.
She then affirms the first step to diving into the depths of God: believing that, "The Kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17:21b)
After securing that belief proceed to diving in the deep.
Come with a deep sense of love
Come to Him gently, humbly
Come with a deep sense of worship
Acknowledge He is everything
Close your eyes to distractions around you
Focus on your spirit
Believe God dwells within you
Once you are in His presence be still and quiet. Be child like in your love, wonder and faith. Call Him Father, or Papa, or whatever you feel is right.
"Pour out your heart to Him as a little child pours out his heart to his father. Never doubt your Lord's deep love for you. Never doubt His desire to hear you."
The goal of His presence is to know His heart.
God desires to love and be loved. He desires to know and be known. These are both human needs and desires. And God put them there.
The God who created you desires to be known by you.
He has things in His heart to share with just you. Words for yourself to heal, teach, comfort, and cleanse.
He has things in His heart for others. Words for you to share with others to heal, teach, comfort, and cleanse.
Dive in the deep and be filled with the fullness of God. Then go and carry His life into a dry land.
