Michael Molinos lived in the 1600's. He was known as a Quietis. In his book, Spiritual Guide, he taught that being quiet before God, and when being persecuted, is the highest way to live.

The title of the entry in 100 Days in the Secret Place, by Gene Edwards, for today's journal response is 'Temptation'.

Molinos is referring to the temptation to defend yourself, explain your position, make your opinion known. Or, in other words, be known, understood, and heard by others

These are basic human needs however demanding other humans fill this void is disappointing at best and devastatingly damaging at worst.

Only our Creator, Father, and God can truly fill these needs. And all He requires is that we come, wait, love and listen.
